SGRRC Camper Guidelines

rule one Respect each other. Be sensitive to differences in backgrounds, cultures, and values. Avoid being offensive with comments, tone, and gestures. Be aware that there is a BIG difference between 10 and 17 years of age.
rule two Respect everyone’s differences in race, ethnicity, physical ability, size, class, and sexuality. No racist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory comments. Bullying or name calling will not be tolerated.
rule three Respect volunteers! Camp volunteers provide their time and energy to make camp an awesome event for you. Follow instructions form all staff and be kind and respectful to them.
rule four Respect ALL instruments, equipment, and property. Camp equipment is donated for your use during the week. Please use it properly and treat it carefully.

rule four Turn off cell phones and beepers (who has one of these?) in classes, workshops and panels.
rule four The ratio is two adults per group of campers, NEVER be alone with a volunteer!
rule four Remember that MTSU is open to the public — campers MUST stay with volunteers and in groups.
rule four If you ned medical assistance, let a volunteer know immediately. SGRRC can only administer medication that is approved by your parents.
rule four Camp directors, staff, and volunteers are here to help. If you hace any questions or need help, don’t be afraid to ask or let someone know.
rule four Always be supportinve of each other’s musical efforts! We are all taking creative risks.
