SGRRC Student Guidelines

Respect each other. Be sensitive to differences in backgrounds, cultures, and values. Avoid being offensive with comments, tone, and gestures. Be aware that there is a BIG difference between 10 and 17 years of age.
Respect everyone’s differences in race, ethnicity, physical ability, size, class, and sexuality. No racist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory comments. Bullying or name calling will not be tolerated.
Respect volunteers! Camp volunteers provide their time and energy to make camp an awesome event for you. Follow instructions form all staff and be kind and respectful to them.
Respect ALL instruments, equipment, and property. Camp equipment is donated for your use during the week. Please use it properly and treat it carefully.
NO! Smoking, Drugs, Alcohol, or Violence. We WILL dismiss the student!
Turn off cell phones and electronic devices in classes, workshops and panels.
The ratio is two adults per group of campers, NEVER be alone with a volunteer!
Remember that the venue is open to the public — campers MUST stay with volunteers and in groups.
If you need medical assistance, let a volunteer know immediately. SGRRC can only administer medication that is approved by your parents.
Camp directors, staff, and volunteers are here to help. If you have any questions or need help, do not be afraid to ask or let someone know.
Always be supportive of each others musical efforts! We are all learning to become better at our art and skills.
