Southern Girls’ Rock and Roll Camp’s (SGRRC) mission is to open the world of music to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Last summer over 20% of campers received either a half or full scholarship, and as we are offering 2 weeks of camp in the Summer of 2010 we will have a greater need of scholarship dollars.
A donation in any amount would be appreciated but your $300 donation will make sure one deserving camper has a rockin’ good time and enjoys the empowering, community building experience that is at the heart of SGRRC.

In return for your generous donation you will be listed as a SGRRC donor on our Showcase Program and you will receive a personalized progress report and letter from you sponsored camper. If you have a specific camper in mind that you know would enjoy the SGRRC experience please contact us directly to make those special arrangements. SGRRC is committed to keeping tuition low as we strongly believe that music should be open to all children, regardless of finances. For only $300 campers receive instrument instruction, participate in workshops such as music photography, recording, and songwriting, and form their own bands in which they spend the week crafting a song to perform at the annual Saturday Night Showcase. Campers are also provided with all necessary equipment, lunch, and a camp t-shirt. With your generous contribution you can make sure a child will experience all that SGRRC has to offer.
