Happy New Year to all our wonderful SGRRC community! We cannot tell you how excited we are to be ushering in our tenth camping season. All of us that have been lucky enough to be part of SGRRC over the years are always humbled and thrilled to see how much we’ve grown. With registration for the 2012 camp session well under way, we want to thank all of you who participated in our holiday registration events. We are so excited to see the names of returning campers on the list as well as some new members to the SGRRC family!
On January twentieth at Patterson Park Community Center, we are hosting a Movie Premiere for our 2011 Showcase Film. We know you guys have been waiting a while for the showcase footage, but we promise, you will not be disappointed! The film looks amazing, and we can’t wait to show it to you on the big screen at Patterson Park! We hope to see as many campers and volunteers from our 2011 session at the event! What a great opportunity for a reunion, don’t you think? Our campers are the star of this show and we want you all there to celebrate! The event begins at 8:00 pm with doors opening at 7:30 pm. You can pre-order tickets here at sgrrc.org, and all attendees get a free download of the entire film to have for themselves! Also, all 2011 alumni and registered 2012 campers attend for free!
For those twenty-one and up, we have another Night of the Living Cover Bands event scheduled for March 17th (St. Patick’s Day!) at Wallstreet on the square in Murfreesboro. Stay tuned to our blog, twitter, and facebook for updates on what is sure to be an amazing show!
Lastly, we are so very proud to announce that YEAH’s co-ed camp, Tennessee Teens Rock Camp will be holding a second session in Murfreesboro this summer! Be sure to you let all your family and friends know that there is another opportunity to have the rock camp experience in Murfreesboro.
